Weather Station

As weather station a semi-professional Vantage Davis Pro II, wireless, is beein used. For the moment the station is sitting on a pole in the backyard.

Data Logging and Graphics Preparation

Data logging is done using a WeatherLinkIP again from Davis. The logger connects to the home network and a WeatherBoxx then pulls the data off the WeatherLinkIP logger and prepares the grahis using Meteohub. The graphics are then pushed onto the internet usinge Meteohub, where a Joomla driven site takes care of presenting them.

The WeatherLinkIP is unfortunatelly necessary as the WeatherBoxx cannot directly connect to the Davis Vantage Pro II. This increases price and seutp complexity, as the WeatherLinkIP required a bios update for proper working.
